Cervélo S5 Force AXS - Five Black

The Cervélo S5 is built for riders who want every part of the bike working towards speed. Its carbon frame, bayonet fork and one-piece HB19 cockpit form a distinctive aerodynamic front end, while the seat tube and rear wheel are shaped to work together through the air. Cervélo says this generation of S5 is 6.3 watts faster and 124 grams lighter than its predecessor. 

The S5 is designed to feel composed as well as fast. Its integrated cockpit uses Cervélo’s “Plus-Four” shape: the bars are 4 cm narrower at the hoods than at the drops. That lets you adopt a narrower position on the hoods while retaining a wider hand position for descending and sprinting. A choice of bar and stem combinations makes getting the position right an essential part of the build.

This Force AXS model combines SRAM’s wireless 12-speed drivetrain with a 50/37T power-meter crankset and 10–33T cassette. The Reserve 57TA front and 64TA rear wheels were developed with Cervélo for the S5 and use DT Swiss 240 Dicut hubs. Vittoria Corsa Pro 29 mm tubeless-ready tyres complete a build aimed at fast road riding and racing.
